tomorrow is lagwagon, it's so late right now but i got home really late and worked really late and i'm so excited i can't sleep, and it's time for me to BE at work in 4 hours ugh. gonna need an energy drink on the drive up tomorrow. can't wait to see one of my best friends and go to one super rockin show!

my bbq went off smashingly, except for a few incedents one which included me breaking my pinky finger. Ya I'm a winner, :P But everyone (almost everyone) who came had a great time. The girls from work stopped by even woohoo, my friends from Edmonton came in just as promised and the locals rocked it out bbq style. I even decorated the back yard a bit which was wicked. I don't think (for the first time ever) we took pictures though, i know i didn't.....odd. Even Rob showed up. Everyone loved the shot glasses we made them too. I think I'm just gonna take my next vacation time and hang out in my craft room and bang out a few crafts. I get so many ideas I can't keep them all written down and accomplished. Oh well.



So summer is coming to an end which makes me kinda sad but then again I get so happy because fall is my favorite season. As most of you know its the smell and the crunching of leaves and color that I go gaga over. I love the nights where you can wear a bunny hug but a scarf and maybe mittens on string are a good idea. *swoon* i love autumn!

Just to give you some perspective here's a chart of as Kjorvie would say "big truck big truck" vs the creatures of the deep. As the ice fields and poles melt we're going to see a huge increase in sea life, averaging about 20-150 new species a year I figure, or more, what do I know though, I'm just a girl who loves the ocean. ;)

Real or fake I still think the whole buzz over big foot is pretty rad. Did any of you see the documentary on Yetti they had about 4 years ago, where they found some hair that is believed to be the creatures. Also in the report was a young girl who was taken care of by the Yetti and she is now like 80-some years old and still talks about how she was always treated kindly by the animal. Anyways weather they are real or not I still believe in them as much as I truly believe in things like ghosts.

The other animal that has people questioning this past year is the Unicorn. Yeah now your all laughing but "they" who ever they are, think they have found the bones to a small horse, about a foot or so I think it was, who is claimed to have calcium deposit by it's fore head. Now if this was just one animal that would be pushed out the door as coincidence, there it looks to be a whole heard of mini horses with calcium deposit above each of their heads. So who knows maybe they were just so annoying that Noah really did keep em off the boat, "damn unicorns! always under foot" I mean he's gonna have to put up with them for how ever long the flood lasted, I don't blame him.

I'll try to find some links to maybe help back my own story here up. Anyways... the other thing I wanted to note was today I saw a moment in a persons life that was so innocent simple and pure I had to share it, this girl saw these really rediculous pencil toppers that we have and as soon as she saw them she smiled and touched them and said to herself "i had these in grade 4".....it was just nice to have customers smile at simple things we put out. And the fact I was there at the right time to see it was neat. I wonder if I make other people smile the way they make me?

Foundeded

Not too too much new. I'm full from eating a super awesome dinner that I shared with Garrick. Yum Mark had the brilliant idea of ordering from Ricky's All Day Grill so we could have semi normal food instead of the ubre gross selection of Wendy's, A&W or Mc Donalds blech.

Today I had a customer come in and tell me that I'm ripping off my customers by not selling illegal copies of Microsoft's Windows Operating systems. ROTMFFL Yeah, a big box store selling pirate booty. Go team awesome.

went cliff diving Saturday. It was super awesome rad. I had so much fun I love hanging out with my girl friend N. She's super positive and we always have a great time. Went for dinner with bosman for his bday. We went to Capers, and as of late it is a classic candidate for restraunt make over, it was pho noodles vs pizza and pasta and ribs. They took our order a few times before bringing out some nummy stuff. Then hung out with Chris and April. Met Chris' parents finally after so many years of hearing about them. :)

So I've been trying to set my friend up with someone on Plenty of Fish but in Ontario, it's tough work screening guys from over there to see if they are goons or goods. Some are just plain ol' not thinkers at all, I had two or three of them ask me if I wanted to go for coffee, hmmm I'm only a 5-6 hour plane ride away, ummmmm NO! I wonder if Alberta boys are just as swift? Probably smarter as long as they were born here ;)

Anyways, I'm just about ready to go finish reading my book. Nothing exciting today, but tomorrow~that's when the fun begins. Apparently people are going to be coming over. So anyone who wants to join just stop by and if you don't know my address then call me on my cell or at home after 945pm. If you don't know my number it's on Facebook, if you're not on my Facebook, you don't have my number, well chances are your not close friend and it's probably better that you don't come over, it would be awkward, "hi this is my friend um what's your name again?....oh yeah this is el blog creeper, creeper, this is my friend non creepsy" Yeah doesn't really work so well. Anyways I'll post some pics next time.

I can't sleep, I got so much churning through my mind that even a whole bottle of wine with T tonight can't slow things down and make me sleep. Not that it was even remotely a solution. Actually I was kinda shocked when we split the bottle over nachos and cheese cake...there goes the diet lol. It was good to talk to someone about my work and how passionate in the oddest way I am about it. It was great to have that friend in my life again. Missed our talks. I think that part of my life was pretty decent. I was not as concerned about things I am now. Money, future promotions and school. But I had heavier issues back then to deal with as well. Abs, standing on my own and finding my dream.

I have to admit I am missing a few odds and sods right now too, some are gone away forevers and some are gone camping for the week. Some just decided to stop talking to me (dork) and some I just haven't heard from in a while(pj shopping is needed). Some I just wish things worked out differently so we could talk more(thanks for the glowsticks at live'in'techno color btw i found sparkly my little pony stickers in my bed!) and some are just busy with kick boxing and stuff and I totally understand.

Sigh. I need to start figuring out a game plan for this year.

So I was talking to a friend who was telling me that I had to go see the picture on my friend's blog who recently passed away, he said that it was a classic picture of me and that he only posted pictures of times, moments and of people that meant something. So I went and looked and yup it was classic and properly tagged "clearly confused" Kareena.

I was feeling good about it all then felt really sad on my drive home from Marla's after a girls movie night. I started thinking if I meant that much to him if he knew that he meant that much to me? I know I've made more then one person uncomfortable or comforted in telling them how I care about them so much. Uncomfortable because they aren't used to hearing it with genuine meaning or comforted because they feel the same way or needed to hear that from someone.

So thinking if he ever really knew or not really got me crying, so I called Bosman and asked him if he knew that I really cared...and if he thought my friend who's now gone new. He said "I think he did and I know I do, of course we know." I hope so. And I hope you guys all know how much you mean to me. I don't know what I'd do with out you guys. Honestly. My friends are my family and a close knit one purl two togethered one at that. Even those who I don't talk to as much anymore, I still really care about you and I hope you know if you ever need anything I'm always here. Maybe not with lots of money or jewels or stuff like that (unless they're plastic or bead like then I have trillions) but I'm always here if you ever need anything. I miss those we've lost so much some days and hope that they left us knowing at one point maybe not the end but at one point how much I loved each of them.

I know it makes some of you awkward to hear me tell you I love you but just say thank you and know that it's true because I really do. I wouldn't be here today with out you guys I know that for surely sure and really real.

So as most of you know one of my favorite band's is New Order and my favorite accessory to anything is SHOES! Runners to be exact.

Car Rides shouldn't take this long

Wow it took us 4 hours yesterday to get to Calaway Park. What a mad house the highway was. Every turn out, emergancy pass, over pass, there were 5 cops waiting for those early travellers for this holliday weekend that is upon us. I couldn't believe, it. Then we got stuck behind a trailor, a tractor, then a tractor pulling a trailor, and last but not least we got stuck on the highway by Cochrane because of traffic lights. WOW>< class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">Brenty. I dunno it's pretty close. So after we went on a few rides cuz it took us an hour in the best ride of all the line ride that sets up for the bumper boats. LoL I learned how to play a bunch of games because I was getting all edgy in the line and having a hard time standing in it. hmmmm A.D.D. much?

I also got to hang out with the twins and go on a bunch of rides with them. Abs would be so proud I went through the haunted house with Kjorvie. I kept telling him what she told me "it's just foam, they're just foam" cute.

So on top of all this funzie time I also played a game that I swore after the dice incident I would never play again. I played Dungeons and Dragons. Yup. Actually it was kinda fun. Reminded me a lot of Final Fantasy. *shakes fist at a certain spy in Ottawa* Anyways. Ya, it was fun. Then we got to drive back home, luckily it wasn't as long as the drive there.

I dunno I had a good day too bad I couldn't sleep last night. *shakes fist at other ex boyfriends who show up drunk at 2am* I worked a long day today an now I'm pooped. Went to Earls for Scotties bday dinner and passed up video games at Chris and Aprils to go home and veg. I work this whole weekend. Yayzers. Have a happy long weekend folks. I'm sure you'll read rampings and rantings more this weekend since I'm stuck in the deer all weekend.
