One thing I love about working night shift is that I can reseach my little heart out on just about everything I don't have time for during the day or that I get distracted from with msn and facebook, seeings how they are blocked at work, I can actually focus on what I'm looking up. I found some great VW forums to help me solve my Golf problems...I didn't bother looking up aveo ones because I don't want to touch that dirty car with my hands. Where as my VW I love to bits and enjoy working on it always. It has a bit of an antifreeze leak and it doesn't like to start in the morning or after it rains, which leads me to believe it has something to do with the vaccum or ignition switch. I'm gonna get my long time pal Gory to run it through the computer and see what codes it throws out at me. The check engine light isn't on anymore but it still doesn't like to start or idle for long. So on line they say pretty much the same thing. If you need a good site here's the one I've been going to vwvortex I've found it to be the most useful so far.

Watched Pineapple express tonight with a super cute guy. He pretty much made me watch it after I told him that I hadn't talked to anyone who enjoyed it and holy crap was it funny. I'm so grateful he got me to watch it. Best part is when franco's character tried to kick out the window in the cop car and got his foot stuck. hehehehe thanks for making me watch it! We also rented definace but we'll watch that tomorrow. I had to go and he was super duper tired....

The other thing I enjoy about night shift is painting. I get to paint a lot while i'm here and I enjoy that imensly. The only thing I miss is talking to my friends. But I just keep thinking that as long as I'm getting ahead for this year, I'll be able to take a break next year and hang out with friends more. Just need to build the nest egg up and get ready to sell my house in 3years. =)

not fast and furious

more like slow and tedious, ugh tonight I dropped off a card for the Sasquatch, and this is what it looked like (sorry no pic unless he sends me one of it) it had a Sasquatch, fire with a happy face, and a dragon, but the dragon was drawn quickly (by me) and had two tails, one just happened to look like a penis so inside the card read Happy Birthday Kirk, sorry about the dragon with the penis it just sort of happened.

I was greatly disappointed that I wasn't gonna get to go with the GSO to fast and the furious, it was a sad state of affairs. But then Dmaster was gonna go with me tonight (gso was going tomorrow when I was working :( ) anyways so I went to go see it tonight but the stupid thing was sold out for all shows. So instead of fast and the furious we went to The wrestler. It was the opposite of Fast and Furious, it was slow and tedious and ya. Not impressed with it at all. Hopefully I'll get to see FF next week. :)

Sent in my taxes, made some appointments and started cleaning out the other room for a new renter. Should be good to go for next week.

reading year

had lunch with the GSO, then we went and got me a library card, and almost borrowed the salamander for three reasons

1. it looked like a bible
2. it had a good quote in the front
3. even though it was in fiction it had to be fact with a
title like 'the salamander'

but instead i ended up getting an old skool science fiction. Enders Game.
thanks to Biddi and the GSO for the suggestion of using the library, since I am going through books like crazy. Working nights and evenings seems to do that for me.

went and saw the curious case of benjamin button, loved it, thanks Dmaster for stopping by. Totally worth waking up from my sleep for it. Haven't really hung out with him a lot lately so it was nice to catch up on stuffs.

Played wow for a while, and had a coffee dropped off for me now i'm trying to sleep, should set in soon so i can be up for a call in shift tomorrow

batman forever

so i was a bit pissed, actually super pissed when I heard they were killing off Batman, so pissed in fact that i refused to read the "last" issue. But a friend just sent me to a site and it read like this

So now I have to go dig and find the issue and check it out for myself. And who the eff! cares if it has any hindering on the movie franchise, movies will go on forever, comics give us a glimps of alter egos in real times of human life. Although I could get lost in a comic collection for years, and re read issues. I still think it's stupid to even bring up the movie facet of the deal. What ever. Anywho, I just got home from yoga so I don't want to get too riled up over this tonight. And yay Canada in the hockey section. Wow, comics/yoga/hockey....it was a great day.
