So I found out what my awesome lil Abs is getting me for Christmas. Now I don't usually gush over girly things like handbags, yes I do enjoy a good bag and love making them but I do not enjoy spending an over priced amount on any one brand and yeah I usually just find whatever works for slinging over the shoulder. But on this particular occasion I was quite excited.....I'm getting a Betsy Johnson Bag!!!

she's craftay

ooooh i can't wait to give some of you your christmas presents this year, they're all gonna be weird and fantastic and even if you don't appreciate them i don't even care cuz i've had so much fun making and crafting them. i've learned over the years that not everyone appreciates hand made gifts, and this saddens me in parts of my heart but i don't hold it against you. i used to be annoyed by them too at times but now i cherish anything made for me. i think it's something you grow out of if you were ever a spoiled kid. (which a long time ago i was) anyways all the gifts are gonna be super sw00t! just you wait.

cute guys, hot cars and paint

One thing I love about working night shift is that I can reseach my little heart out on just about everything I don't have time for during the day or that I get distracted from with msn and facebook, seeings how they are blocked at work, I can actually focus on what I'm looking up. I found some great VW forums to help me solve my Golf problems...I didn't bother looking up aveo ones because I don't want to touch that dirty car with my hands. Where as my VW I love to bits and enjoy working on it always. It has a bit of an antifreeze leak and it doesn't like to start in the morning or after it rains, which leads me to believe it has something to do with the vaccum or ignition switch. I'm gonna get my long time pal Gory to run it through the computer and see what codes it throws out at me. The check engine light isn't on anymore but it still doesn't like to start or idle for long. So on line they say pretty much the same thing. If you need a good site here's the one I've been going to vwvortex I've found it to be the most useful so far.

Watched Pineapple express tonight with a super cute guy. He pretty much made me watch it after I told him that I hadn't talked to anyone who enjoyed it and holy crap was it funny. I'm so grateful he got me to watch it. Best part is when franco's character tried to kick out the window in the cop car and got his foot stuck. hehehehe thanks for making me watch it! We also rented definace but we'll watch that tomorrow. I had to go and he was super duper tired....

The other thing I enjoy about night shift is painting. I get to paint a lot while i'm here and I enjoy that imensly. The only thing I miss is talking to my friends. But I just keep thinking that as long as I'm getting ahead for this year, I'll be able to take a break next year and hang out with friends more. Just need to build the nest egg up and get ready to sell my house in 3years. =)

but who's counting right ;)

bligity blog

Believe it or not I'm actually tossing out a ton of stuff these days. I think I've just had enough of carrying around all this crap. NO I am not getting rid of the Coleco or the Fabric, but I am getting rid of old furniture, stuff I don't use and things that I have no idea why I still have 'em. I also came to the conclusion tonight that I can now 100% see a paralle between me and Autumn. *the author of "a promise of hope" It's taken about 5 months and a bit but I'm finally at the point where I'm taking out the trash. I've finally allowed myself to let go of the garbage that has held me down for so long. Sounds corny but it's somewhat true. I've lived with this challange my whole life and for the first time I'm happy with all aspects of my life and I don't need all this stuff. Stuff that I'll never get to, stuff that was a good (crazy but good) idea at the time, stuff that I thought would make me feel normal. I've come to understand that this is something I'll always have to face but that I can finally see that it's a gift and not a curse. Now to just get rid of all this stuff. Yay!

Today was pretty rad, cleaned out some garbage, had one of my best friends stop by my work and hang out for a bit, hung out on the couch with a cute guy and watched a zombie movie while knitting a new hat for a super cute little girl I'm gonna try and meet for the first time on my days off coming up in a few weeks. :)

My dad comes to help me fix my fence tomorrow I can't wait to see him *yayzerz* that is all.
