so after pooling together all my birthday money and christmas money and savings i have finally purchased all the parts needed for my gaming computer parts to make up a gaming computer so i can play some of the newer games. i'm so excited to finally play with all my new friends! and hopefully some old ones if they sign up for some of the same games. ;) dars *cough cough* jarisrad *cough cough* and thanks to bosman for giving some instruction to put it all together. now to save up for a kickass monitor. oh and props to kirkthekokaneesasquatch for hooking me up with a stellar vid card! loves you! yay me! just in time when both of my computers dieded for good.

well it's 4am and everyone has gone to bed finally. except me since i'm stuck at work doing an overtime. i've looked at all the pages i can and now i'm just building dream computers, dream vacations, dream cars and well reading about dreaming and homeostasis. i bought a new book that i should try and read. it's stephen king's the stand. so far it's pretty awesome. a client is also suggesting the hunger games and i think i might listen to him and pick it up and read it before i really delve into the stand.

so i got picked up at 6am and we headed out with the pups to Waiporous to meet up with some other people. It was an awesome day of 4x4ing and Sayders loved running around with Shadow and running along side the jeep. We rode down to the falls and had lunch then back and out for dinner. had a super duper awesome day today! Bear and I and V and Sarah Pickles cleared off the deck today then Bear and I took Saydi for a walk. Then we proceeded to kill zombies with guns and at times I killed them with a chain saw. We did this for about 3 hours of awesomeness! V and Sarah cleaned out the basement they're so amazing. We also put out a couch for free so if you want a couch its out there for you! Then Bear took me for chinese food and showed me this awesome video that's above....its actually a song you can listen to in left4dead2...now i'm all packed up ready for my 4x4'n adventure with Radek and his puppy and saydi if she's feeling up to it. i'll post something about tomorrow for sure after.

Got a new room mate for a little while he's super awesome and makes me smile all the time. Really good guy. But it's just for a bit then back to being a house of us girls. Had a decent Christmas with my lil family. Worked for most of it though. Had a pretty rad day today, talked with my little sister and her kids, took care of saydikins went for coffee with one of my best friends and I'm gonna help her paint her art room so we can paint on canvases together in there. I'm also going to throw in the towel and try scrap booking with her. We'll see if I can get over my fear of cutting up expensive papers. *shudders* Got an email from one of my favorite dj's in the UK, which totally made my day. I miss him so much.

and i got some face time with one of my favorites. he's so good to me and i love our 2 hour and 24min long phone calls at 3am just talking about nerdy things and trips we want to go on and our puppies and stuff that makes us smile.

so i took saydi to get her picture taken with santa, they were so good with her and even though it took 25 shots and only three turned out along with many different poses including santa laying on their side in a fold out spread position, we got one that works and its framed and on the picture gallery. once the photo loader is fixed on here i'll post it. she's sooooo cute!

one great thing that's come about since the gso and i parted ways is that i have gotten so much closer to saydi our puppy. she's been such a good companion to me through all of this and gives me something great to wake up to every morning and something great to cuddle up to sleep with every night. thank you saydi for being the best sayders possible. i love you tons. <3

Days off

Had some great days off with friends and family. Chet has arrived and he's so adorable. I just love him to bits! He's so furry! I also went out with Jim and made some new friends and hung out with old ones. Sat up late playing Skyrim, taking my Saydi out for walks enjoying the snow with her is always a good time. Pretty rad days off if you ask me.

Been having a great week, started it off with date night with my roomate who had pizza and beer ready for me when i got home. went for brunch at moxies with a hawt guy and breakfast with a good friend today. got my puppy her xmas prezzy....a tread mill. got a super good deal on it 20bux! and it's motorized so now when it's late or -30 out we can go for a run. thanks to the gso for helping me move it and fix it up, your baby saydi thanks you too.

i had the bestest halloween with the mini one, we went trick or treating on our own for the first time ever. she kept saying the whole night that it was the best trick or treating eva! we raced across the streets like super heroes as she was super girl for halloween. (she changed her mind about the zombie costume because she was scared) we had a really great time. i love spending time with her. she means the world to me.

maybe it's because my nails smell like fresh nail polish as i just painted them with glow in the dark nail polish when i was laying in bed bored to tears....yes my eyes were tearing up....also a possability from the nail polish. ok ok ok i've learned you do not paint your nails in bed especially glow in the dark as they are far too distracting to fall asleep.

i read wicked for a while, played Klax on my DS and just layed there listening to my breath trying to fall into a lull of sleep....didn't work. anyways i miss all the others who can't sleep that used to be up on msn. sigh gone are the days. and boot if you're reading this reply to my email mr.!

ok so i'm going to post about something i hate admitting to anyone that i do. i fart. yup plain and simple i pass gas. the other day i explained how i do this by means of a rubber duck. you squeeze a rubber duck it squeaks through the bottom of it's self.....kinda like when the GSO told me to relax and squeezed me>>>> I farted (like the duck i squeaked out my bottom). So there you have it. Me farting is like a rubber duck squeaking. We are both cute and both push air out our bottoms making noise.

I remember my girlfriends son came home so disheartend and when she asked why he said because you lied to me mom and I got in trouble for it. So she asked him to explain what happend. So a girl in his grade one class farted and he got really concerned and asked if she was ok and she said ya i just farted i'm fine. well he started calling her a liar and got really upset with her outrageous claim...."its all because you told me girls don't fart mom!" we burst into tears laughing and she appolegized and explained girls do fart (just like rubber ducks)

Books that make me want to paint

So I'm on night shift and reading this really awesome book that I refound on my art bookshelf. This bookshelf contains books on sewing, painting, drawing, and fabric art (not quite sewing but kinda like sewing). The book is called The New Artist's Manual I've linked it just incase someone wants a better look at it or is feeling artsy and doesn't know where to begin. I'm hoping this helps me with my oil paintings. And for those of you who put in an order for a painting I haven't forgotten about you, I'm still painting. Except for Tom (i doubt he reads this) I'm having trouble giving you yours because I love it so much, BUT it will end up in your hands soon.

I know I'm tired and this double shift is dragging on but I still feel this way even after I work out and feel "great". A co worker described my feeling exactly when he told me that the Kareena he met was like a freshly cracked bottle of champagne bubbling and fizzy and over flowing, and lately I've been the same bottle but flatter like I'm three days old, still the same bottle just less life to me. I've been stuck in this rut for the last few months. I know my life needs changes in it. I know I need to let go of the hurt that's dragged me down for so long to this point. I just hate letting go of something I seem to love so much.

So the GSO and I joined a gym last week and so far we've gone twice and started eating better. I started at my heaviest I've ever been. I blame the medication and no self restraint. I'm happy to say that in the last week I've lost 5lbs! This gives me hope and motivation to keep going. It's a 24 hr gym so it fits into our schedule nicely and gives us another healthy thing to do together along with our roller blade adventuring. (I'm getting better at it but still look like a fool on wheels)

not much new in life, had a really great phone conversation with my mini one and i'm going to paint her a picture of a butterfly since that's a huge connection for us. whenever i see a butterfly it means she's thinking of me and vice versa. the GSO brought it up that maybe i should get a butterfly tattooed on me for a symbol of the mini one and as much as i dislike butterfly tattoos it sounds like a great idea.

i'm still addicted to netflix and my dog has taken over the house. she's our little princess. but don't worry i'm not dressing her up or painting her nails. but she is a big reason why i get up early and stand out in the rain and lost ten pounds because of walking her so much. she's learned to sit and shake and almost lay down, now she just needs to come and not eat MY socks and MY pj's....never the GSO's only mine.

so that's a mini update on my life. nothing crazy just plain fun.

so i've been doing a ton of growing, personally, garden wise and my video game collection as well as some new skills such as rollerblading. one other thing in my personal collection of growing is my hair. i have this delema every time it gets to this length. should i keep growing it (it's starting to get heavy and i usually wear it in a pony tail.) or should i cut it off. if my hair dresser was still around i would cut it cuz i know she cuts awesome super rad short cuts and gets what i'm asking for. so people who read this give me a vote...or the name of a great hair dresser. until then i'm gonna keep growing i think and bettering my roller blade skills, maybe i'll look like one of those hot girls with the great swinging pony tail at the gym or rolling by. (for now i just look awkward in my boots).

i've also been expanding my painting. no i'm done with painting walls, but i've started painting for others on 9x7 canvas board. just to try something new, they give me inspirations and i give them a painting. not a bad deal....win win for both of us. i'll post all my paintings after i photograph em once a month. i was thinking of doing painting a day but that's too much commitment especially when i can't even blog everyday.

so here goes to an new chapter in life full of growth.

I hate this part. The part that hurts so much but you know it's the kind of hurt that is going to make you stronger, like when you're training your body to run. I know I just have to break through the wall and drop all the weight that's holding me back. I've made the first steps, now I just have to keep pushing through. I'm so lucky to have the people in my life that I do. I don't think I've had to be alone for one whole day since all this went down. I've had great people take me for dinner every night and play video games with me, I get bed time phone calls from oscar winners who tell me bed time stories and tell me I'm beautiful before I fall asleep. I have the greatest girl who's been coaching me from experience the entire way, reminding me to focus and keeping me on track. I have a great counselor who keeps giving me home work that causes me to reflect on where I'm at and why things happen and how to change them for the better. And I have the greatest co workers who are super supportive and I really do love my job. I'm scared what's going to happen in the next year but I know even though I feel alone at times I really really really am not. Emirates Palace hotel in the United Arab Emirates erected a 13 metre Christmas tree adorned with $11 million worth of jewels. They now regret it. Is the tree in bad taste or should we loosen up and enjoy the elaborate gesture?

The folks in Abu Dhabi have received international attention after luxury hotel Emirates Palace decked out a 13 metre Christmas tree with $11 million worth of jewels. The government news agency has now issued a statement saying they regret the "attempts to overload the tradition" of decorating a tree for the holiday season. The statement was issued after critics condemned the tree as being in bad taste.

At first this story did not compute for me. Emirates Palace, a hotel in a predominantly Muslim country, has erected a giant, jewel-covered Christmas tree?! Something has gone awry in the world. It turns out that in the United Arab Emirates many hotels follow the tradition of putting a tree up in the lobby, to make visitors from abroad feel welcome.

I can appreciate the gesture though the irony of it leaves me wondering if extreme cultural sensitivity only occurs in Canada. Here, schools are removing ‘Santa' images and have replaced the term ‘Christmas concert' with ‘winter concert,' leading some to speculate about our country's cultural compassion and its ability to kill Christmas. Meanwhile in the Muslim country of UAE, publicly displayed Christmas trees are commonplace.

That said, this particular tree - described as the most expensive tree in the world - is a gaudy, tacky, tasteless PR stunt. I understand an ambitious attempt to get into the Guinness Book of Records, but if you were decorating a tree to truly show your holiday spirit, perhaps you'd be better off with a tree that is dressed by the community and not an overzealous jeweler.

A more modest tree might have done a better job of not rubbing in the fact that you're one of the wealthiest cities in the world. Abu Dhabi holds 9% of the world's oil reserves. We get it. You're rich. You're really rich. No need to shove it in our faces, especially not during a time when the emphasis is meant to be on giving. There are so many better ways to spend $11 million.

If the hotel and the country truly wanted to draw positive attention to themselves they should have donated a large portion of the $11 million to the countries starving labourers, who for twenty years have worked tirelessly to build the UAE up to its current state of metropolitan glory.

I hate cable, there's nothing ever on and you pay for a service that is rarely used. What I do love is movies, and the ability to watch a TV series without commercial breaks or having to own a pvr to watch them (i work when all the good tv is on).

Then comes this great invention called NETFLIX

this now allows me to watch the greatest series of television shows ever! RED DWARF, INVADER ZIM (my favorite comic book dude made him and jthm)

not to mention rescue me and a ton of awesome movies, documentaries and kids shows like PINGU!!!!!

i have a hard time going to bed after work cuz there's so much awesomeness on here, and cable has totally lost its shine and luster. (not that it really had a lot to begin with....Diners Drive ins and Dives was awesome that's about it)

too bad my interwebs would cost more if i canceled it. bah.

so i've come to realize i don't blog about cool stuff anymore, i rarely blog period but i've lost my awesomeness of posting cool beans kinda stuff...

I'm working night shift again. It's my last shift outta the three that I picked up. I think I might actually apply for the Days Nights full time line....I know I hate days but the money might be worth it. I have some calculating to do to figure out if it's going to be worth it or not and how many days vs nights for the shift dif. Nights I make an extra $5/hr and weekend nights an extra $8. evenings I get an extra 3.50 so for days i wouldn't get any extra, hmmmm. like i said i'll have to do some calculating.

one great thing about night shift is looking up stuff when i get bored which happens ... believe it or not

so I got bored and decided to look up nerdy desktops and found this...it's pretty hawt.

i think i'm just gonna leave this page open and keep adding to it through out the night. =) so enjoy my little random night shift awesomeness....

i wish things could be easier but then i wouldn't be learning anything and i would stop growing which ultimately would become me not living anymore. i just hope things work out the way that i want to an extent and that i don't lose everything that means so much to me. i've learned so much from all of this. i appreciate my home, relationships, and job way more that i have ever before. although i still do not have any appreciation for laundry. ugh. i know i'm always going to be one of those people who has to learn life's lessons the hard way. i just hope that it's not too late.

i've been trying for the past two weeks to post up pics from pure and it's just not working out for me. a lot of stuff hasn't been working out for me. and as harsh as reality is sometimes maybe it's a wake up call to start doing what works again. i start back into counseling tomorrow. i have to start running again and keeping up with my vitamins.

i know i hurt the gso a lot. and it wasn't his fault. i had all this sadness stuck in me and even though he was perfect in every way, i still let it come through and wasn't taking care of myself. he's been so good to me, we've become so much closer in the past few months. i couldn't ask more from him. i just hope no matter where our paths lead us that he's happy. that's all i've ever wished for him and if we could be happy together that would be even more awesome. all day all i could think of is all the great things we've done together, all the trips, all the goofing around, all the secrets we shared and all the cooking we've done. he's my bestest friend and the greatest boyfriend, and as much as i hate losing video games to him i still think he's the best video game partner in the world. he's so talented and smart, he has the biggest heart and i love him so much. i don't want him to move far away. although i know we have to have time apart, it hurts but i know it has to be. i just hope he knows how much i care for him and how all i wish is for him to be happy.

i know i need to focus on getting better and figure out why i'm so hard on myself. i pray for forgiveness and i pray for insight, and i pray that one day this will all be behind me and that one day we can be happy together again. no matter what happens i'll always love him and always leave that door open cuz it's just so amazing. i'm just sorry for all my mistakes and wish i could take them back. i'm terrified where things are going and i don't want them to continue that way. i'm hurting so much and i'm tired of it, i hate that just when people start opening up or getting close i feel so much hurt inside. i'm scared. i don't want things to keep going in this direction. hopefully going to counseling will give me some tools so this never happens again. as hard as it is to say i do have some hope, much more than i have in the past 3 days. i hope things will work out, i hope things can work out between me and the gso and i hope things will work out in my soul so i can allow happiness to be part of me again. so here i go on the road to getting better....

*sigh* i can't find my camera sd card adapter so i haven't been posting pics or anything really cool lately. i've been on days off since wed, and have the rest of this week off too. just been really really busy with the GSO getting things all sorted out and transitioned. today we're going to calgary to take my mini one and her older brother trick or treating. i love it. its my favorite season and my favorite day with her and it makes me so happy to share that with him. we went to a halloween party on friday at a co workers which was super fun. also the GSO got us an Xbox360 *does happy dance* it's pretty sw00t. my ex husband traded me my VW golf for a brand new 50" plasma screen TV! so playing vidja games on it is so pretty. this month has been pretty stellar. i'll post up picks of the party, and the rave we went to at the begining of the month PURE. and hopefully of some from tonight. in all things that have been going on i have to say i'm really happy. nothing's easy but i know from experience that things that we work the hardest on, are the things that come with the greatest reward.

after a 5 year leave of absence in the rave scene i decided to check it out again with the GSO and got us tickets for PURE. i'm so glad i did, it's totally what we needed after the past lil blips in life. it was awesome to get out of the city and enjoy amazing beats and being part of a bigger glom of people that are all there for the same reason.....phat beats, good times, and hands in the air moments. i don't think i could stop smiling there even if i tried. i had a few girls tell me how hot he looked in his pants and how awesome of a dancer he is =) i just smiled and said i know, i'm lucky.

i really do appreciate him and everything he does for me. it was amazing to go to this party and smile not only because i'm where i belong but because i got to be there with him. everything just fit perfect. and i meant what i said to those girls, i'm lucky.

i forgot how much i love to sew clothing. it's been a while, prolly 2 years since i sat down and made a skirt or pants. there's something to be said about the whole process that i love. i love the challenges that it brings i love the creative side that comes out when i sew. it's like i go into a different mode and become a different person and everything just flows. i have a lot more concentration than i did 2 years ago so it's a nice change to get a project pretty much done in one sitting rather than a span of 3 days with 12 short periods of productive work. i think it helps when i make stuff for people that i know and love. other than a minor accident with the scissors i think they turned out pretty good. i will admit i'm procratstinating on the skirt. i hate making stuff for myself. *sigh* i have to just get over it and do it.

this is gonna be awesome, i'm biking on my mod'd stationary bike thinking about how awesome this extended long weekend is. sewing phat pants and a skirt for PURE on saturday night, (pants are pretty much done, just have the skirt now. what started out as my nephew wanting to come over and play world of warcraft and street fighter has now turned into him and my niece, their new little brother coming over for the day and going swimming, which has morphed into the gso bringing his kidlets too, i'm super excited it's gonna be hectic and fun. only one missing is the mini one but i think she has school and we're running out of hands so maybe next time i'll invite her and her brother. i get to meet brenty's new addition, he got a new puppy and i'm so excited to meet it on saturday when we stop in to get my carstarter checked. :AN is coming to town and we're going for a quick coffee on saturday, i got the mustang out of the drive way, and have a potential buyer for my vw (on the condition he keeps the sticker on it that says 'i read your email'). i have turkey dinner with my mom's side on sunday and then coming up i'm meeting my cute french girlfriend in kananaskis. i'll post some pics of PURE i'm sure. *does happy fun dance* *twirl* don't think i could get much happier. sw00t for long weekends for cute girls!

brakes

so with the help of the gso and his dad, i learned how to change the brakes on my car, and actually did one side of the car (with the help of the guys but still). it was pretty easy minus the one set of screws we had to drill out. i have to say that's one thing about the gso that i love. he show's me how to do stuff and lets me do it on my own or at least with some help from him. i've always been an independent person and so it makes me feel good to still have that independence along with having some help with stuff.

i feel kinda bad because i didn't make it down to calgary this week but i think it was really important to fix the brakes on my car. well i should prolly get back to sleep. the dryer woke me up with it's buzzing noise like the door to the unit at work.

i find myself spening way way more time with family lately. i'm not sure if it's because i feel they need me or because i know things aren't going to be a long term idea. it seems that calgary is a destination that i travel to more and more often although i still wanna hit up edmonton more than anything.

the other thing that seems to be haunting me is taylor swift. i always seem to have her singing my life in her songs i should sue for copy right and make some money or just write a biography and settle it for good.

'love you grampa dan' and to brent she sends fdgdgdghdhgdhhdhgdhghdghghdg this is a joke and my favorite video is flying mario head' and when he asked her how to find it she told him it was on youtube and you just have to type it in....so later when i got home from the visit and the gso was done work we checked it out.....and i have to say i lmao at the thing. i think i have a pretty rad mini one. and i can see how i 6 year old would find this to be the funniest thing on the internet.

wow i must be super duper smart then! I like this fact. Although my dreams lately have seemed to be stressful or have stuff in them I'm really not happy with. They say that dreams are ways to get through things we're dealing with in real life and that its good to have them even if they aren't what we want them to be (usually most of us want good dreams that make us happy) I haven't had my re-occurring dream where I'm on a journey with the GSO but rather I've been having dreams of the mini one passing away. This could be because my last surviving grandparent is sick and her birthday is coming up, or it could be a change ahead. I dunno all I do know is that I just hope she's safe and happy. She sounds like she is when I talk to her on the phone. Maybe it has more to do with other stuff that I'm just not catching. And maybe I'm not dreaming about a journey with the GSO because we seem to always be on one anyways. I guess it's true that dreams really do come true. I just hope the bad ones don't. Yeah I'm stressing about some things in real life but on the whole I'm just really really happy and grateful for all the awesome people in my life. I'm so blessed.

muscles, mini one, and fun.

I've tried to take the time to sit down and type out a post but the past few weeks have been a bit different in my routine that I haven't had a moment to actually sit down and type over things that are swirling in my head. One, I've had a head cold and really the only thing swirling in my head is mucus, Two, I've had a house guest for a while and I love them there, no complaints at all. People living there do entertain me and well, i prolly talk to them instead of typing things out to get it out of my head. There have been some big things. Went out with the GSO and Nic dancing, went to a house warming pre garage warming, worked out at the city supplied work out stations littered around the city. I love them! it's a free gym! but it's outside so it's gonna suck in the winter. Click here to see if one is close to you. You don't have to be a gym junkie to use the stuff and it works all your muscle groups. I know I have a lot to work on when it comes to upper body. This was quite apparent when I went to help the GSO move my huge ass couch out the door and could barely lift it. So yeah. Between this and Laser Tag and biking on the stationary I think I'll be in pretty good shape this year finally. I got most of my eating habits down, now it's just time to put some action into the plan and build a bit of muscle.

Also the mini one started grade one this year. She absolutely loves it and had a great first day. She told me she was bullied a little bit by a boy who sits next to her but when asked what she did when he bullied her, the response I got was "i just ignored him, he's a waste of my time, but if he keeps it up i'll tell the teacher" soooo cute I just love her to bits. I can't wait to see her this month!

I should prolly go back to work seeings how my break is over in 5 mins. I still love working at the hospital I can't believe how fast time has past that I've been here so long. Seems like I just started yesterday.

so there's been a lot of not so great stuff going down in my neighbourhood and it kinda sucks. the gso ended up chasing some punk ass kids after they broke into a few cars in front of my house. and now some dude is going in my back yard and that's so not cool. i wish he was here all the time to protect me but i'm a big girl and can take care of myself.

i've been recoverying slowly from my stint in the hospital. i tried going back to work today and it was pretty brutal but i was getting so depressed staying in my house for so long. although it's better than being in the hospital hooked up to iv's. i just wish they could figure out what's going on in my bodkins. the gso has been so good and supportive through this and if anything good has come out of it i think it's brought us closer together. and if that's the case it was worth having to go through this for that to happen. i appreciate him so much. along with my friends family and co workers. i'm so lucky to have all the people in my life that i do.

today is one of my best friends birthdays and i'm so excited for him to be turning the big 30! bosman has been one of the constants in my life since we became friends 13 years ago. he's put up with all my insanity and ruckas causing and tears laughter and antics and i couldn't ask for a greater friend. happy birthday sweetie i love you so much. you mean a lot to me and i don't think i'd be as happy or as strong as i am today without all your love and support, random drives to the random places and all the other greatness that has come out of us hanging out. i hope only greatness, awesomeness and wonder to fill the rest of your years. blah sleeplessness

i can't sleep and i blame the gso i was dead tired then he started talking about how he wanted to do all these projects and it got me into thinking about projects then i got somewhat manic and went through a bunch of boxes that my brother had of mine. turns out they were all from when brenty and i moved apart. i found year books, photos of tim and i and nick and tennille and my wedding album and some photos from Germany.

Made me a lil sad but incredibly happy to remember all those amazing times with all those amazing people. and yeah i'm gonna brag i was hot on my wedding day dammit. but the one photo i was looking for in there i couldn't find .... the etnies one. oh well i'm sure i have it somewhere. i have no regrets i just think we got married too young and had too many things on the go that weren't in sync. *le sigh*

Today is a super duper guy's birthday. we've been friends forever it seems, and i'll never forget the day i met him at forbidden dimension and then again at the 28shade's gig at LTCHS. he's been a huge support of mine and always full of fun stuff. we've gone all over western canada together and have a ton of pictures and one not so PG video to show for it all. (i would say it's PG13 sorry folks its not one of those paris hilton R ones) I just wanted to thank him for all the awesome times we've had together and even though we go months without seeing each other our hug is never changing when we finally see each other again. so my world of warcraft account has been expired for 10 days now. it's been a little hard but i've been keeping busy and enjoying some wow free time. thanks to a co worker i know now about www.everyvideogame.com and that's helped relieve a bit of tension....dragon age is good too but i have to say after trying for three days with dnd online i give up it makes me motion sick. not cool.

went to visit :AN who made the GSO and i dinner, gave him back his comic books and movies from when i was sick with the flu almost a year ago. it was great to see some projects he's working on and as always it was a nummy supper of vegetarian delight.then it was off to visit the GSO's mom's. she's such a neat lady i just can't say enough awesome things about her, she has the cutest house that i adore, the nicest gardens/yards in the front and back and not to mention she's incredibly talented. she gave me some pottery she's done and a plan that keeps misquitos away in it, not the greatest photo of it but it will do. she also got me these wild and super rad socks when she was on her trip, she said they reminded her of a certain kandy kid....(me) i love them, it's my two favorite colors: sparkle and purple!I definetly got spoiled on that trip. we ended the trip with a stop at harvey's and believe it or not the GSO had never eaten there before! how insane is that? we went to the one that dallas and i go to (i think we've been there three times but that's enough to call it 'ours') then back towards home. it was a gooder. i've been somewhat serfx spoiled lately. last week we hung out and had good times and i got the pleasure of hanging out with him again tonight. seems like it's been forever. i ordered a party platter for all of us to share and it came with nachos and cheese (the kind you pump out) but after 2 or three attempts of dipping into said "cheese" it wouldn't stick to a nacho or a quesadila or however you spell it. finally we got it onto a nacho but over exposure ruined it....oh well we tried. i miss our late night coffee hang outs but i definitely don't miss the food at denny's, but i do miss the nerd talks from tables around us including ours. thanks serfx you can always randomly count on me for hang time.

I had a really great day, went over to pick up the GSO and went for chinese food for lunch/breakfast, then made my way to pononka to meet up with Ryan to go to Starwars in Concert. I'll post some pics off my phone it was really freakin awesome. They had stuff there from the actual movie, like costumes and guns and stuff. pretty rad stuff i tell ya.even warcraft is boring (no one is on there either) so here i am figuring i should prolly blog a bit to catch you up on everything going on. i've been playing with some new layouts for my blog. i've talked about changing stuff before but didn't. now i have some templates to work with that i really like so who knows it may make it's way on here....change is good right?

had a crappy day today. woke up late, scrambled to get ready, slept through lunch with dellertson, dropped off coffee and candy for the gso since he was working a day shift and that always sucks(i hate the week of days he works i'll be honest but at least all the other evenings work out), went to a really nice baby shower, but i'm not a baby shower kinda person. i'm happy with just having my mini one and when i go to stuff like that everyone asks when i'm having more kids. and i hate answering that. some days there's a part of me that wants more kids...kids aren't even the issue...i just don't ever want to go through pregnancy again. it's like 98% of me never wants it and 2% of me does but it's pretty easy to quash that 2% as soon as i think back to labor....gawd that was horrible. people say you forget about it after a few years....i'm going on 6 and it's still like it was yesterday. so i guess i'll live vicariously through my siblings and friends having babies. i really don't mind that at all. i know if i was to parent i would be a great mommy. but i know it's just not in the cards to give birth again and that's ok with me. =)

so after the shower i went to work, worked with great people but it must be a full moon or something because shit went sideways all night. came home needing some love and a hug, didn't really get any. now i'm just pouting and gonna go to sleep. i just want today to be done so tomorrow can be better. i want to crawl under the covers and hide from the world. i'm sure tomorrow i'll feel better after sleeping in. i can't wait until my days off so i can see the mini one and go to bonzai and eat yummy food with a super awesome guy. oh and if you see me tomorrow give me a hug, it'll be needed i think.

I haven't had internets for the past few days so I'm sorry that I haven't posted in a while. That will be remedied after the 14th apparently. But until then I have to thank Carlos the magnificent whoever he is for letting me snitch his internets. Thanks Mr. Magnificent! you rock.

I had one of my clients say good bye the other day. I hope they do well in their new path in life. Made me almost cry with the kind words they said. Gotta love those moments. Makes it all worth while. But honestly I have the greatest job and every day of it is worth while. Even when I don't want to get out of bed I still enjoy going to work. BEST JOB EVER! Helps that I work with some of the greatest people and in the most interesting field.

Anyways my eye keeps watering and it's annoying and I should try to get up at a decent time on my day off. Night night.

i'm in the process of gathering as much information as i can on options for my house, to sell it or refinance it or move it to a different lender, then what kind of mortgage i want. it's been an ordeal and a half and some what over whelming at times. part of me loves my house especially now that it's all renovated. part of me hates it because it's so big and i live in it all alone. part of me loves it cuz i can have people over for bbq and such and the other part of me hates it because i just don't have enough time to do all the up keep i want to with it. all that and it's really expensive to stay here all by myself. i want to get a roommate but i'm nervous of that as well. if i were staying here for a longer period of time i would just not worry about any of it. i almost think i should just wait out the 2 more years and struggle through it and reap the benefits of staying here. but to me 2 years is too long. and that means 2 years of being broke and not being able to afford to go to school, do anything really fun and what not. who knows maybe after all my researching i'll find a way to make this work in my favor....wish me luck.
